 INTRODUCING CHICKEN!

 

Chicken is a sweet senior boy who may take a little time to show you just how special he is. He can be reserved and unsure when first meeting new people or entering a new environment, but with patience, kindness, a few treats, and-most importantly-a feline friend, Chicken blossoms into an affectionate and loving companion.

Once comfortable, Chicken is full of personality! He loves chin scratches, full-body pets, brushing, playtime with feather wands and laser pointers, and giving the biggest head bonks. He is also a champion biscuit maker with an impressively loud purr. Chicken is a bit of a social Jekyll and Hyde-after breakfast, he prefers some uninterrupted nap time, but once his afternoon rolls around, he is ready to chat, play, and spend time with his people!

Chicken is very cat-centric and truly thrives with feline companionship. He would love a friendly, social cat who enjoys being close and doesn't mind a little extra affection. He is a gentle and respectful boy who is much more likely to retreat than fight, so a confident but kind feline friend would be ideal.

As a senior gentleman with some vision limitations, Chicken does best with a calm, predictable environment and patient people who will give him time to learn his surroundings. He may become confused or startled by sudden movements or unfamiliar spaces, but once he knows his routine, he settles beautifully. A slow introduction to his new home will help him feel safe and confident.

Chicken is looking for someone who understands that the best relationships take time. Give this sweet boy patience, companionship, and a cozy place to call home, and you'll be rewarded with head bonks, biscuits, giant purrs, and a whole lot of love.
